This is an information message for all scheme members.
From the 14th November 2011 there will be a new national single non-emergency number to call the police which will replace the current 0845 8 505 505 number. The new national number is 101. In an emergency you should still dial 999.
Don’t worry if you forget the change in number as both numbers will run side by side until the end of March 2012
With Christmas approaching can I remind all scheme members that if they withdraw any large sums of cash from their bank or building society to be aware of their surroundings and be careful with their wallets and handbags after the money has been withdrawn. It is always preferable to use credit or debit cards rather than carry large sums of cash around.Message Ends
